Apparently hours are variable when it suits management but not when it's for customer service. I booked for 9-10 PM check in and that was confirmed. Then later I received an email that I needed to be there before 9 PM because they were closing. OK, I did that - didn't love it but ok. The next morning I'm in the common area (because the wifi doesn't work well in the rooms and I needed to send an important work email) and when I'm there 5 minutes past 11 AM (when they close), the manager says "we close everything at 11 - we leave. I thought they told you that". Very poor customer service - I'll never visit again and can't recommend anyone else do so.

Such a great price. Private room and bathroom/shower. Huge kitchens that were clean and supremely organized. I prefer to cook for myself.

Just stayed at Jasper East Hostel and I can’t recommend it enough! ? The rooms are super clean and soundproof, which made for such a comfortable stay. The whole place has a great vibe - amazing environment, fully equipped kitchens, friendly people, and an awesome location just 45 min outside of Jasper town. Angie is an absolute gem of a host: welcoming, straightforward, and hilarious. Honestly, this place is top notch. I’ll definitely be back! ??????????

What A Rare Gem! I can't say enough about my stay! Only thing that would have made it better was extending it! Great location walking distance to restaurant brewery. I reserved upstairs private room/bathroom with red light therapy light & grounding sheet on bed! Luxurious linens! Clean! Fully equipped kitchen available, foosball table, games, books, Journaling, wifi, community area downstairs! Upstairs yoga, meditation room with red light therapy & grounding mats! Quality drinking water! I slept with the window open. Quiet! Owner is the sweetest most welcoming lady! She's also a park guide & a wealth of information! Highly Recommend ? She even had take away cups for coffee / tea ? I saw all sorts of animals between Jasper & hostel! Hot Springs nearby

Stayed at Jasper East Hostel and absolutely loved it. The space has such a personal, homey feel – cozy blankets, peaceful vibes, and just really comfortable overall. Anji and Mike were so sweet and welcoming, it honestly felt more like staying with friends than at a hostel. Would 100% stay again!

Absolutely perfect base for adventure! Jasper East Hostel is everything you could want and more. I’m so thrilled this incredible accommodation is now open! With the Folding Mountain Trailhead literally steps from the front door, it’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to hike, explore, and fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the Rockies. The private rooms are stunning—thoughtfully designed and super comfortable—and the amenities are top-notch. Can’t recommend this place enough!
