Chateau Jasper offers a comfortable stay in Jasper, with convenient access to downtown and park activities. While some guests appreciate the friendly staff and convenient amenities like underground parking and a pool, recurring concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance issues, and limited housekeeping services have been noted.

Really good hotel experience with my friends. The room service, the room, it's all perfect. The location of the hotel is also very convenient as a tourist, since it's at the entrance of downtown Jasper. My only slight complaint is that there was a broken roof tiles which caused some noise, but it was very subtle. 5 stars.

Had a great stay at Chateau Jasper Hotel during my road trip to Edmonton. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and located in a nice quiet area of Jasper, which made it a perfect stop to relax after a long drive. One thing I really appreciated was the nice area around the hotel for morning walks with my dog, Alfie. It was peaceful, easy to walk around, and a great way to start the day while enjoying the fresh mountain air. Free parking was also a big plus, especially for road trip travellers. The location was convenient and made it easy to continue the trip the next morning. I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, so I can’t comment on that, but overall the stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Would definitely consider staying here again when traveling through Jasper.

A lovely spot to stay when you are in Jasper. The children absolutely adored the pool after a day of skiing! The hotel is conveniently located just outside the village centre. If you still have some energy after a day of hiking or skiing, you can easily walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious. It is perfect for a family of four.

Second time we have stayed here and the difference was like chalk and cheese !! First time was great no issues but this second stay was abysmal the room was sub standard to say the least, winter time and the heating was non existent due to drapes over the heater, unable to leave drapes open as the indoor pool was directly looking into our room , the fix was a maintenance guy zip tying the drapes !!! Also the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work but wasn’t fixed, overall the decor and entire place is shabby and tired looking. NEVER AGAIN

The hotel is fine but all strangers like me be warned, there is no housekeeping in here during your stay. I mean they will make the bed, empty the trash cans and change your towels, but that’s all they do. There is no actual cleaning. They won’t vacuum, disinfect the restroom or wipe the table. It’s not the first time I notice this in a Canadian hotel. I don’t know, I think in here it is commonly admitted that you have to do this stuff by yourself, but there is no appropriate material in the room such as sponges or detergents to do the cleaning, so if you are the kind of person who enjoys the comfort of the most basic hygiene even when you're on holiday, before you come in here just make sure you pack some cleaning stuff. (I know it’s hard to pack a vacuum cleaner but come on, make an effort). Also the common amenities are rationed. There is one roll of toilet paper, about twenty handkerchiefs in a kleenex box and something like 50 milliliters of soap in a bottle dispenser. If you use those during your stay, they won’t be replaced. And if you have the audacity to ask, you'll be met with the meanest glare you've ever seen. So, just to be in the safe side, avoid eating in the local fast-foods or restaurants whose reviews indicate a spicy cuisine or a lack of hygiene. Or if you do, just make sure you pack a roll or two of toilet paper in your luggage. Also bring your soap. I don’t know, I guess people don’t need to wash their hands as much in here. Which is a wonder because they also don’t seem to need a lot of toilet paper. Anyways, besides those things that may seem odd for strangers, the hotel was fine. Perfect location. Convenient facilities. And a parking. Just fine.

An incredible stay! We received an unexpected room upgrade and a hand written note from the staff telling us to enjoy our stay! The hotel is older but was very clean and well stocked. We stayed the weekend and absolutely loved our time in the Hotel. The staff are friendly, the service is excellent and the location is very near to a lot of amenities. The hot tub and pool were also very welcoming. Our most unexpected and loved amenity was definitely the secure and heated underground parking. It made getting ready or undressed for the hill a breeze. Thank you so much Chateau Jasper!

Chateau Jasper is a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel—ideal for couples, families, and even solo travelers. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and well laid out, with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. Bathrooms are modern, spotless, and well stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. The amenities are a big plus. The indoor pool and hot tub are perfect after a day of hiking or sightseeing, and the gym, though small, is functional for a quick workout. The hotel is close to downtown Jasper and a short drive to Pyramid Lake, Jasper National Park, and the Jasper-Yellowhead Museum, making it a great base for exploring the area. Friendly staff, a calm atmosphere, and reliable comfort make this a solid choice in Jasper.

Spacious room but outdated. Furniture needs replacing, as does carpet. Bathroom was very cold, no heating there. Vent was constantly bringing cold air in. Pool and hot tub are very small. Friendly staff. Bit of a walk to the town center. Breakfast buffet was not very impressive.

This was my first stay in Jasper, and I really enjoyed this hotel. It’s clean, cozy, and the staff are friendly, professional, helpful, and responsive. The underground parking is super convenient, especially in winter. My kids like the hotel too, and it’s now our go-to place to stay in Jasper. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it. From the outside it looks a bit old, like many buildings in Jasper, but inside it’s well kept, warm, and charming with a rustic cabin feel that fits the mountain vibe perfectly.

Like most other places in Jasper it's pretty mid. The rooms are decently spacious. The pool could be bigger but doubtful that would ever change. HOWEVER, get you hot tub working properly, with actual jets please.
