Alpine Village offers a charming and rustic retreat near Jasper National Park, featuring cozy cabins and stunning river views. Recent reviews highlight the friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenient location, though some guests noted ongoing construction and limited air conditioning in certain cabins. Overall, it’s a memorable experience with a strong connection to nature.
Excellent stay in the deluxe bedroom suite. Clean and luxury cabin! Loved the comfy bed and underfloor heating in the bathroom! Views out onto the forest behind the property. Sarah on reception was very friendly. You can borrow an axe to chop wood for the fire which was entertaining. Hot tub was lovely! Only downside was room was smoky when cabin next door started their fire and no safe in the room, however did not outweigh the positives of this amazing stay!! Would stay again and definitely recommend!
This little gem was half ravaged by the recent forest fire and is rebuilding it's wonderful log cabins. Our cabin was nicely appointed and displayed fine detailing and great craftsmanship. The loft bedrooms were a nice touch. This family run business really cares about its guests.
The staff at alpine village were incredibly helpful after I made a mistake with my booking. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient and there is a great view of the Athabasca river. I highly recommend staying here!
Cabins are really well built and maintained, pictures on their website actually don't do any justice Location is outside of town but close enough to quickly go and get some food etc. You can chop your own food for fireplace They had a part of the property impacted by wildfire so construction is on but i never heard any noise even when i was outside. Got flat trails for running and cycling nearby Lots of wildlife on property.
One of the best hotel/rentals I’ve stayed at. Cabin was warm and inviting. Love coming home to the fireplace after a long day of hiking. Perfect on a chilly fall day. People who work here are all incredibly nice and very helpful with anything you need. Saw elk on the property multiple nights. Would be my first choice to come back to in the area. FYI, I stayed in the deluxe bedroom suite
Fantastic! Spent three nights in a deluxe cabin and it was super nice! The staff is amazingly friendly, cabins and grounds super clean and location is PERFECT! We had elk come by us daily and last night saw the aurora from our deck! Highly recommend! Jasper is still amazing, dont let last years fire scare you off, great week!
We loved our 3 night stay at alpine village. It was a lovely, cosy, clean cabin in peaceful surroundings but just a very short drive or slightly longer wander into Jasper. The staff were friendly and provided a fan on request which was needed as it was super hot when we visited. The shower products were the best - we even ended up buying some! We loved sitting in the chairs provided by the river after a long day of hiking/exploring. Would definitely stay again in the future and we were just sad we didn't get to stay longer!
We had a wonderful stay at Alpine Village. The staff were very warm and welcoming, helpful and quick with responding to any queries we had even before we arrived. The location is beautiful, right along the Athabasca river and a nice 2 km walk to and from the town. Gorgeous and sparkling clean cabins, we had a lovely time watching the elk around the property. Thank you Alpine Village Team for everything! :) A minor suggestion - it would be great to have a trolley available for guests to carry their luggage to the cabins (for those who don't have a car).
Husband and I loved this place. We were extremely satisfied with this booking and I'm so glad I chose it and stuck with it despite the fire damage notices. Half of the cabins were burned down in the 2024 Summer fire in Jasper. However, the currently rented cabins are on the other side of the property and we never felt impacted by the work on the other side. The location is gorgeous near the Athabasca River with a place to sit and enjoy the scenery. The Main cabin has wood, food, and what nots for purchase if wanted/needed. And a Spa we didn't use, but nice that it's there. The room was awesome. We loved it. The deluxe Bedroom Cabin with a Fireplace, King Bed, kitchenette (small fridge and microwave), semi-private balcony (it's private, but how private can you be in a duplex situation) and dual head shower with heated floors bathroom.
We had a lovely stay in Alpine Village, Jasper. Room was clean. Water pressure/ temp was great. Girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Manuel came promptly and helped start the heater in the room. The hotel has a seating area in front, alongside the Athabasca River. Very peaceful and serene. Cabin was cute, but space in room was tight. Loved the small patio in front with two chairs.
