Patricia Lake Bungalows receives consistently high praise for its stunning location, friendly staff, and well-maintained cabins. Guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, proximity to Jasper town, and access to lake activities like canoeing and paddleboarding. Many return visitors highlight the resort’s welcoming environment and its ability to create memorable experiences, particularly for families and those seeking a nature escape.
We are over the moon about Patricia Lake Bungalows! As a couple, we've been going for decades, and have NEVER been disappointed. They've helped us celebrate milestones and birthdays and Thanksgivings and anniversaries--even once accommodating us during the worst of Covid times--and have always cheerily welcomed us (and our various dogs) to their pristine location and sparkling cabins. But most recently, they were so understanding about our complicated family issue, and made it all work out. Kudos to the staff and the family who run this beautiful gem! We are forever fans and forever grateful!
The perfect place to stay to explore the Jasper area and also have some relaxing down time! We loved our stay at Patricia Lake - only 10 minutes into Jasper but felt worlds away from the busy town! Our accommodation was in one of the new Grove buildings - it was spotlessly clean and really well equipped for self catering with its own BBQ, red chairs and patio. Lovely bathroom and really comfy bed. Staff were really friendly and worked so hard to check everyone had any needed supplies in the early evening. Although non lake front we could glimpse the lake through the trees. We stayed from 9th September for 3 nights and were able to swim in the lake - if you’re from the UK it’s no colder than our sea! We enjoyed canoeing - had the whole lake to ourselves at 9am - and paddle boarding as well as relaxing by the lakeside in the Adirondack chairs provided. It really is the perfect place to stay, wished we had a week there! Was my daughter’s favourite part of our whole trip! The grounds are beautifully kept with a lovely hot tub and fire pits. BBQs for those cabins that don’t have their own. Great base for exploring the area, would highly recommend staying here!
First time staying here and it has become my first choice for any future trips to Jasper. The staff were all super friendly that we interacted with. The cabin we had was nice and cozy and just right for what we needed. We brought our 2 dogs with us and they enjoyed roaming around the grounds. Short drive into town and a nice quiet location.
Just spent 2 nights at Patricia Lakes Bungalows and had the best experience. Service was simply amazing which was very refreshing. Great location and only 5 minutes from downtown Jasper. Lucky enough to stay in 16 so had fantastic views of the lake. Can’t fault this place. Rosie the Bungalow pooch was the cutest little welcoming party!
Our family of five stayed for three nights at Patricia Lake Bungalows at the end of August to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I can't say enough great things about our time there. It was one of the best holidays that we have ever had! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. It's obvious that the grounds are well maintained and cared for. We stayed in the Pyramid Cabin, and it was practically gleaming when we walked in! The Happy Anniversary note that had been left in the primary bedroom was a personal touch that put smiles on our faces. The cabin was well stocked with dishes, cutlery, towels, blankets, pillows, etc, and was comfortable and cozy. The staff were all very friendly, waving hello as they drove by, or stopping to chat for a moment as we sat outside on the patio. They also came around in the evening to see if there was anything else we needed (extra towels, toiler paper, etc) Not long after we arrived, we realized we hadn't brought the right pan to use for cooking in the BBQ, so when Katie came by that night, we asked if the resort had one that would work. She was back within a few minutes with two options, one of which worked perfectly and pretty much saved the plans for the next day's breakfast. We rented two paddleboards and a kayak from the resort and had an amazing time on the lake. The views are spectacular, there are no motorized watercraft allowed so it was very calm and peaceful. With the temperatures being in the 30s, the cold mountain water felt fantastic, as did a brief soak in the hot tub after swimming in the lake. I can see why many people return to Patricia Lake Bungalows year after year. We plan to become one of them!
If we could give more stars we would! Especially for the staff & owners, they truly go out of their way to make your time at Patricia Lake Bungalows a memorable experience! The location & placement of the cabins is something out of a travel magazine that stops you in your tracks & takes your breath away. The opportunity to rent the kayaks & paddleboards to explore the lake & get some amazing photos of the mountains is not to be missed. The upgrade they have done to the lakeside dock is amazing (love the big chairs, perfect place to curl up with your book and a glass or 2 of wine ;) The office staff, make them your best friends! They know ALL the good places in Jasper to visit & point you in the right direction for the most memorable experiences. Housekeeping is top notch & so incredibly friendly!!! Thank You to Everyone at Patricia Lake Bungalows for making our stay amazing & memorable. If you have a chance to snag a reservation here, do not hesitate, you will not regret it. PS when you visit, pet the resident puppies for us!
Our stay at Patricia Lake Bungalows was nothing short of wonderful. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience feel personal and inviting. The grounds are absolutely beautiful — the lawns and common areas are immaculately maintained, giving the whole property a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The cabins themselves are spotless and thoughtfully designed. Each one feels unique, with custom touches that make them both charming and comfortable. It’s clear how much care goes into keeping everything in perfect condition. Overall, Patricia Lake Bungalows offers the perfect combination of friendly service, stunning surroundings, and exceptional accommodations. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Jasper.
We had a great stay at Patricia Lake bungalows! Very scenic and quiet. Right in the forest, on the edge of the lake. Our cabin was clean, very comfortable, well-equipped and well-maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Short trip down the hill into town and onto hikes. Could hear the loons in morning and evening, often see elk in the evenings in the area. Returning next year!
We had a great stay at the Bungalows, and highly recommend it for anyone looking at a peaceful getaway in the mountains. Our room was clean, staff were friendly and attentive, and the property has everything you'd want for a lakefront stay. We canoed, BBQ'd, lounged in the hot tub, sat by the fire pits...there's so much for both adults and kids to enjoy. Quiet at night too. Definitely worth booking for your next Jasper trip, we're looking forward to our next visit!
Patricia Lake Bungalows is the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable getaway, especially for families. Nestled just outside of Jasper, the setting is peaceful and picturesque—right on the lake with stunning mountain views. The bungalows are cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s an ideal place for families: there’s plenty of space to explore, a calm beach area for the kids, and fire pits for evening s’mores. You’re close enough to town for convenience, but far enough to feel like you’re truly immersed in nature. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the entire property feels well cared for. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and family-friendly retreat in the Rockies.
