Whistlers Inn consistently receives positive feedback for its excellent location in downtown Jasper, friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. However, guests have raised concerns regarding noise levels, outdated facilities in some rooms, and limited parking options. Overall, it’s a well-regarded option for travelers exploring the area, particularly those prioritizing convenience and mountain views.

We pulled into this hotel late last night with a couple of bus loads of tired chaperones and school students. Staff were super organized and helpful and everyone was safely in their room within minutes. Rooms were very clean and well appointed and - maybe it was due to the late hour and my tiredness - the bed was super comfortable. In the morning we had a plated breakfast served very efficiently. The staff in the restaurant were so gracious, friendly, and tolerant of the youth. Food was very good as well. I highly recommend this hotel for its amenities, location, and excellent staff.

The hotel was good because of location. The rooms were standard hotel rooms, but with a beautiful mountain view, although there was a tree partially blocking it.. If I remember correctly we were in room 219? The interaction with the staff felt a bit awkward, which made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable for us. The hot tub was VERY hot, so I couldn’t stay in it for long, but the view from there was nice. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d definitely book during a full moon for an even better experience from the hot tub. One thing I’d suggest, is making a reservation for the Italian restaurant connected to the hotel at least a day or two in advance, as It was completely packed at dinner time, so we ended up eating somewhere else. We paid $350 for two nights at the end of April/26

Had a wonderful experience at Whistler Inn in Jasper! The location is excellent — right in the heart of town with beautiful mountain views all around. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout the visit, making guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. The hotel has a cozy atmosphere, clean facilities, and easy access to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It’s a very convenient place for travelers exploring Jasper National Park. Also, transportation around the area was very easy and accessible, which made the overall experience even smoother. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jasper and looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Great Pub & Rooms, stayed here with family of 4 Adults, had a room which suited us, clean tidy, 3 beds, bathroom, views. This is an old building that has had heaps of love put into it, you need to remember where you are and be realistic about your expectations, if I was being honest, it exceeded my expectations no matter the age of building. Just so sad what the bush fires did to the forestry, but definitely on the return. We got on the Rocky Mountaineer the following day.

We stayed there for 2 nights. At first was decent, however once we went out to smoke, a few homeless came in to ask for cigarettes and cash. There are no cameras or probably they're not connected as I caught one of the homeless sneaking in my vehicle. They would not take a "no" for an answer. Then, on the second night, the guys next door were having a party, probably were 12-15 guys in one bedroom running to the hot-tub with beer on their hands and completely drunk. I wouldn't be happy having my family there nor risking my wife or daughter as the guys didn't show any respect to my friends. The hotel location is great, right in downtown having everything in walking distance. The heater in my bedroom didn't work, however I had extra blankets with me so used them, but I don't think that's the idea when paying for a hotel. We left and everything seemed to be fine, then I was supposed to get my deposit back and I didn't because the hotel said that we smoked in the room , which we didn't as we are aware there's a fine for doing so. I won't stay there again for sure. The restaurant downstairs is great, 100% recommended.

I used to stop here after a long hitch at work. It would be a half way point for my long drive home back to the Okanagan. I love this hotel. It is cozy and has everything a weary traveler could possibly want after a long drive. Good restaurant, great pub, amazing hot tubs on the roof and cozy rooms. I recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and spacious. Was offered parking on site. Check in was quick enough but I did not appreciate my credit card information was entered into the computer. My room was prepaid. Enough credit card fraud going on these days. Anyhow the negative part is the soundproofing. Wow, there is just about nothing between the rooms. It was so noisy. I head just about everything from the rooms beside mine. I am a light sleeper. Quietness is important for me, so the noise is a big turn off for me.

A friend if mine and I went to Jasper for a couple days. It was a fabulous trip. We typically go in the off season so it's not so busy. The hotel was fantastic. Staff were great. Rooms were lovely. The pub produced yummy food. Now why did I give it 1 star? No handicap parking. Brian uses a walker. I had to walk to behind the firehall to park. They have 13 parking spots. Not a one reserved for handicap parking. Oh, I could park on the road they said, but you have to move it every 2 hours between 9 am and 9 pm.

We had booked a room with two queen beds just for a little get-away from Edmonton and were upgraded to a more spacious room with a king-sized bed and a beautiful view of the mountains. They also gave us complementary parking! This, I think, was due to the fact that our daughter had called and ordered champagne & Jasper-made “sweets” for us as a gift. The Manager arranged to purchase those items on her behalf (or have a staff member purchase them) and have them in our room as a special surprise. We enjoyed going in the hot tub on the roof. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

Basically like an older budget motel, but at much higher prices due to location. Staff when checking in were good and directed me to the parking only a couple minutes walk away. The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. Whether it was the plumbing or something else, there was a lot of noise at night and in the morning that made it difficult to sleep. The windows were excellent, as I didn't hear the road or trains it overlooked.
